I am Jane Goodall's Tanzanian monkeys typing about bananas.
My fingers are Santa's little helpers.
My hope is a sporadic rainfall - yet a torrential downpour in all creative environments.
I am Theseus, unspooling golden yarn.
Sisyphus, sweating uphill.
Bukowski,
scribbling away
in rooming houses.
A river always flowing.
I am the nightmare of stagnancy and a God of Imagination.
I came back. For now, I am connected to the almighty internet.
That was great. I actually gained a whole new appreciation for that book. Didn't like it much the first time, although I noticed taht it was very bloggy in texture. text. yer. 1940s blog. Very pop culture-filled and very much the way that some of us write now. Odd.
Hey. How are your writing projects coming along? I don't ask that in a nosy sense or in a pushy sense...I just ask out of my need to encourage you and to share my hope that whatever it is/they are, that I hope you're cruising along and finding your muse and all that groovy stuff. And I'm glad you're blogging a bit, in spite of it all. Oh, because of YOU, or more precisely your announcement that you're back and my subsequent move to add you back to the proper place on my sidebar, I nearly lost my entire template. Fortunately, I had cut and pasted the damn thing into a Word Doc because it did indeed crap out.
Copacetic.
ReplyDeletefor a bad cough or for bug bites...
ReplyDeleteI will have to come back and watch that when I am connected to the internet rather than not.
